The client called me for help - basically she said she had a very nice apartment but something was wrong - it didn't feel right. What these photos show is more the end results that before.
We changed the color from a bright yellow (which was cheerful when she moved in 18 months ago). Now, it was too much and started to overwhelm the space. WWe chose a softer olive green, which really brought out the woodwork. All of the decorative items were buried in August. All her stuff we weeded out precious from no more use and suddenly, she had a more nuturing space, surrounded by all the things she truly loved.
I always try wherever possible to use what the client has before we buy anything new.
