My client in New York just started a new job at a large advertising agency. In an effort to bring energy into his office and to the agency's overall New York office, my client asked me to design and enhance his office using Feng Shui principles that applied specifically to his Feng Shui profile.
After calculating his elements and positive directions, I proceeded to arrange the position of the furniture to suit his positive directions and added colors, furnishings, paintings, etc. to enhance and balance his elements.
Added decorative wind chimes (to attract energy) and a mother-in-law's plant (which because there are no windows, he needed a hearty plant that didn't need much light and water), along with a painting I made to his Friends and Supportive People corner
I painted a Triple Happiness painting for above his desk
Added a comfortable seating area with two chairs and a table (which I sourced from Crate and Barrel), a hearty plant (for growth) and another painting, with colors that balanced his elements, I made for above the table in his Family/Community area
Added a clock I sourced from the Frank Lloyd Wright Museum Shop and design elements in his Prosperity corner (which added movement)
Added a desk extension to his existing desk set, to reposition him in a position of power with support behind his back with a view to the door
Added a mirror to his back wall to attract the energy into his office
Organized and cleaned up his filing system
Cleaned up the wires running along the floor to various electrical appliances on his desk
Since his office has been set up, he has had many people stop by commenting how comfortable his office feels, how the "energy" feels great, and that it is the nicest office in the agency. Some have even wanted to buy the paintings.
