"Thank you so much. The apartment looks and feels great. The apartment looks better now than when I first lived there ten years ago and has made it much more desirable as a furnished rental property in the future.
It is a pleasure to return home." Neil Ross, Sydney
After exercising some clutter control, the job here was to use Feng Shui design to create an apartment that would appeal to a wide range of occupants. We repainted the apartment, brought the owner's own furniture out of storage, and set the apartment up for the owner to use whilst in Sydney on business. The remainder of the year, it would be rented on the very popular short-term rental market in Sydney.
The furniture was from a previous apartment, which I had to sort and fit into the new space. A slight East-West theme emerged with the use of some Asian artifacts and the richness of the blue and gold in the two lounges. I included some Feng Shui design elements, and added a new rug and dining suite to complement the existing furnishings. With some modern soft furnishings and some new appropriate artwork I painted myself, the apartment had a very smart, executive city pad feel about it.
