Visual Merchandising Case Study
Retail Optics
Initially, a retail establishment for optics contracted my services to help organize the back lab areas of their six Manhattan stores. The objective was to establish synergies in the workflow among all of the stores so that any staff member could work in any of the stores and have a general idea of store operations.

The project expanded into assisting with mini makeovers in the stores, staff training on new work practices, and visual merchandising using Feng Shui, principally to attract new busienss. The biggest challenge here was to get into the minds' of the staff and set up systems that worked for them. This was important because if the staff did not participate in the development of the systems, they would not use them.

Learning something new at any age can be challenging. So, after some initial reservations, we developed trust that this was going to make their jobs easier. I must say all of the staff came up to the plate and I am very proud of them.
